✋ Workers: never pay anyone
Using this site is completely free for workers — now and always. No one may charge you for creating a profile, for "registration", for being introduced to a family, or for getting a job through this site. Anyone asking you for money is a scammer: do not pay, and report them to us.
For helpers
- Meet in a public place first where possible, or bring a friend to the first interview.
- Never hand over your passport or identity documents to anyone — an employer never needs to keep them.
- Agree duties, working hours, days off and salary clearly before starting — in writing if you can.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave and report the profile to us.
For families
- Verify references and experience yourself — we display what helpers tell us, and beyond phone verification we do not vet anyone.
- Ensure any engagement complies with Cyprus employment and immigration law — fair pay, reasonable hours, proper conditions.
- Never withhold a worker's documents or wages.
Zero tolerance: exploitation & trafficking
We have zero tolerance for human trafficking, debt bondage, document retention, deceptive recruitment or any form of exploitation. Profiles or accounts involved are removed and, where appropriate, reported to the authorities. If you or someone you know is in danger or being exploited in Cyprus, call the police on 112 or the national helpline 1440.
